If you want a fast, high-protein frozen dessert with minimal prep, this Ninja Creami recipe is a great option. Using a Fairlife protein shake creates a smooth, creamy base that spins beautifully in the machine and makes it easy to add your favorite mix-ins.

Ingredients
- 1 bottle Fairlife protein shake, 11.5 oz or 14 oz, any flavor
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk, optional if needed for re-spin
- 1 to 2 teaspoons sweetener, optional if you want it sweeter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional
- Pinch of salt, optional
Optional mix-ins:
- Chocolate chips
- Crushed cookies
- Chopped nuts
- Peanut butter pieces
- Caramel drizzle
- Cookie butter
- Crushed brownies
- Fruit pieces
Instructions
- Pour the base.
Open the Fairlife protein shake and pour it into the Ninja Creami pint container. If you want a slightly sweeter or more flavored base, stir in vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, or your preferred sweetener before freezing. - Check the fill line.
Make sure the liquid does not go over the MAX FILL line. If you are using a larger bottle, pour only enough to stay safely below the line. - Freeze completely.
Place the lid on the pint and freeze it upright for at least 24 hours. For the best texture, freeze it on a level surface so the base sets evenly. - Spin in the Ninja Creami.
Once frozen solid, remove the pint from the freezer and place it into the outer bowl assembly. Attach the lid and process it using the Lite Ice Cream or Ice Cream setting, depending on your machine and the texture you want. - Assess the texture.
After the first spin, the mixture may look crumbly or powdery. This is normal. Use a spoon to check the center and sides before deciding whether it needs more liquid. - Re-spin if needed.
If the ice cream is not creamy enough, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk and run the Re-spin cycle. If it is still too dry, repeat once more with a small splash of milk until smooth. - Add mix-ins.
Create a small hole down the center of the ice cream, being careful not to reach the bottom. Add your chosen mix-ins, then use the Mix-ins setting to distribute them evenly. - Serve immediately.
Enjoy right away for a soft-serve style texture. If you prefer a firmer scoop, return it to the freezer for 30 to 60 minutes before serving.
Recipe Tips
- Chocolate Fairlife works well with crushed cookies or chocolate chips.
- Vanilla Fairlife is great with peanut butter, caramel, or fruit.
- If you want a thicker texture, add a spoonful of pudding mix before freezing.
- For extra creaminess, a small spoonful of Greek-style dairy-free alternative or nut butter can help, but keep the mixture within the fill line.
