Ingredients

1½ cups milk (whole, almond, or fairlife-style protein milk)
1 scoop vanilla or peanut butter protein powder
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
1–2 tablespoons sugar substitute or honey
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Optional mix-ins:
Mini chocolate chips
Crushed peanuts
Fresh berries
Peanut butter swirls
Chocolate chunks
Caramel drizzle
Chopped nuts

Instructions

Mix the base.
In a medium bowl or blender, whisk together the milk, protein powder, peanut butter, sweetener, vanilla extract, and salt until fully smooth with no lumps. Blend well so all the protein powder dissolves completely.

Taste and adjust.
Taste the mixture before freezing. Add more peanut butter for a stronger flavor or additional sweetener if desired. The base should taste slightly sweeter than the final ice cream because freezing mutes sweetness.

Pour into the pint.
Transfer the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container, keeping it below the MAX FILL line. Leave a bit of space for optional mix-ins later.

Freeze completely.
Place the lid on and freeze upright for at least 24 hours on a level surface to ensure even texture and setting.

Spin in the Ninja Creami.
Remove the pint from the freezer, place it into the outer bowl assembly, attach the lid, and process using the Ice Cream or Lite Ice Cream setting depending on desired texture.

Check the texture.
After the first spin, it may appear crumbly or slightly dry. Use a spoon to check the center and decide if more liquid is needed.

Re-spin if needed.
If not creamy enough, add 1–2 tablespoons milk and run the Re-spin cycle. Repeat once more if needed until smooth and scoopable.

Add mix-ins.
Make a small well in the center of the ice cream, add your mix-ins, and run the Mix-ins cycle to distribute evenly.

Serve.
Serve immediately for soft-serve texture or freeze 30–60 minutes if you prefer firmer scoops.

Recipe Tips

Whole milk creates the richest texture, but any milk works.
Creamy peanut butter yields a smooth consistency.
Salt helps the peanut flavor pop and balance sweetness.
Mix-ins like chocolate, caramel, or fruit give great contrast.
Freeze evenly on a flat surface for consistent results.
