Tangy, ice-cold perfection in every bite — this Ninja Creami lemonade sorbet captures summer in a pint. Bright lemon flavor with just the right amount of sweetness makes it the ultimate refreshing treat for hot days or anytime you need a citrus pick-me-up.

Ingredients
- 2 cups lemonade (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup simple syrup or sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup water or lemon sparkling water
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Pinch of salt
Optional mix-ins:
- Fresh blueberries
- Raspberry swirls
- Mint leaves
- Lemon candy pieces
- Crushed meringue cookies
- White chocolate chips
- Basil leaves
- Citrus zest curls
Instructions
Mix the sorbet base.
In a medium bowl or blender, combine lemonade, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, water, lemon zest, and salt. Stir or blend until sugar dissolves completely and flavors are well mixed. Taste — it should be very tangy and sweet since freezing mutes flavors.
Taste and adjust.
Sample the mixture. Add more simple syrup for sweetness or extra lemon juice for tartness. The balance should favor sweet-tart since cold temperatures dull sweetness perception.
Pour into the pint.
Transfer to Ninja Creami pint container, staying well below MAX FILL line. Sorbet bases expand significantly during freezing.
Freeze completely.
Lid on tight, freeze upright for 24 hours minimum on level surface. Lemonade sorbet needs full freeze time for best texture.
Spin in the Ninja Creami.
Process using Sorbet setting first — perfect for fruit-based frozen desserts. Expect slightly crumbly first spin.
Check the texture.
Sorbet should be scoopable but might need liquid. Test center consistency before adding more.
Re-spin if needed.
Add 1 tablespoon lemonade or water to center well, then run Re-spin. Repeat once for perfect smooth sorbet texture.
Add mix-ins.
Create small center well, add blueberries, raspberry puree, or mint. Run Mix-ins cycle sparingly to preserve sorbet texture.
Serve.
Serve immediately for authentic soft sorbet consistency, or freeze 15-20 minutes maximum for firmer scoops.
