Ingredients

  • 1 can peaches in syrup or juice (15 oz), drained (reserve 1/4 cup syrup)
  • 1 cup milk (whole milk or plant-based)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or coconut cream
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar or honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (brightens flavor)
  • Pinch of salt

Optional mix-ins:

  • Graham cracker crumbs
  • Chopped pecans
  • Brown sugar crumble
  • Cinnamon sugar
  • White chocolate chips
  • Coconut flakes
  • Caramel drizzle

Instructions

  1. Drain and reserve syrup.
Drain canned peaches, reserving 1/4 cup syrup. Roughly chop peaches into smaller pieces (1/2-inch chunks work best). Pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Blend the base.
Add chopped peaches, reserved syrup, milk, heavy cream, sugar (if using), vanilla extract, lemon juice, and salt to blender. Blend until smooth but with some texture (10-15 seconds). Don’t over-blend into juice.
  3. Taste adjustment.
Taste mixture—canned peaches vary in sweetness. Add 1 teaspoon more sugar/lemon juice if needed. Base should taste peachy and slightly sweeter than desired final flavor.
  4. Pour into pint.
Transfer to Ninja Creami pint container, staying below MAX FILL line (fruit puree expands). Secure lid tightly.
  5. Freeze solid.
Freeze upright for 24 hours minimum on level surface. Fruit sugars create softer freeze but need full time for perfect Creami results.
  6. First spin.
Remove pint from freezer, assemble in Ninja Creami outer bowl. Process on Sorbet or Ice Cream setting (Sorbet great for fruit-forward bases).
  7. Texture check.
Fruit bases often spin slightly icy first time. Normal! Spoon center—if powdery/icy, proceed to re-spin.
  8. Re-spin process.
Add 1 tablespoon milk to center, run Re-spin cycle. Check texture. Most fruit recipes need 1-2 respins for creaminess.
  9. Mix-ins (optional).
Create deep center well, add 2 tablespoons mix-ins (graham crackers + pecans = peach cobbler!), run Mix-ins cycle once.
  10. Serve summer style:
    • Soft serve: Immediately with fresh peach slices
    • Scoops: Freeze 30 minutes
    • Parfait: Layer with whipped cream

Recipe Tips

  • Syrup > juice: Peach syrup adds richness vs. waterier juice-packed
  • Pat peaches dry: Removes excess liquid for better texture
  • Lemon brightens: Cuts sweetness, enhances peach flavor
  • Cobbler vibes: Graham crackers + pecans = instant peach cobbler ice cream
  • No fresh peaches needed: Canned = consistent flavor year-round
